Custom built by Performance Pro, this pump was developed with a 10,000 gallon pond in mind using a bead filtration system. The design of the the impeller is specific for these needs.
The Performance Pro pump has been proven reliable. Its not uncommon for one of their pumps to run 24hrs a day for 7+ years before needing any major service. Think before you buy! Brand “B” may be cheaper but you wont be saving any money as you need to replace it more often.
These pumps are molded of tough glass reinforced polypropylene, which makes them extremely strong and built for long term service. Their good self-priming characteristics allow them to be positioned above the supply source. The internal water passages have been carefully designed to provide high flow rates with minimal water noise. An easy to open Lexan lid provides easy viewing and access to the oversized strainer basket.
